Change your name to something weird, but good luck getting it past the idiot interns at facebook. They assume every person has a first and last name. I go by the name "Turnip" but they disabled my account. They claim I have to use my legal name, but I forget having ever sent them my birth certificate. They seem to have a psychic ability to ban certain "Roberts" pretending to be "Bobs".
Changing you name is really a big deal and money. First you have to publicize your changing it cause some people of course will not recognize you. The legal process to would be excruciating especially with legal documents with your names in it.
I've had numerous different last names, lol! And so I've only used Marion, my first name, when I've signed a painting or photograph.
At least Marion has always been only mine.
@ turnip-I remember it was one of the only places I could not use CyberCelt. I do not use the aka to hide my identity, I just wanted to be different.
@raphnix-From this article it appeared to be inexpensive to change names. I guess it depends on where you live.
@marion-I never changed my name when I married. I just never thought of changing it. Plus, the thought of having to keep track of jobs, addresses and names was too much for me.
